Pink Bake Sale Flyer

pink bake sale flyer templateThe color pink and bake sales go together like peanut butter & jelly.

Whenever I think of baked goods, I always picture pink, pink boxes, pink foods, pink icing… in my mind the color is unavoidable and tends to creep into my designs here too.

I had the opportunity of baking these pink lemonade cupcakes this week which were the muse for the entire design. I’ve added the photo of the cupcakes together with some graphics to create this pink retro styled cupcake bake sale flyer.

You don’t have to have a pink themed event to use the flyer. The image shows how the flyer looks with some text added. You can save the background image as a blank template for you to use to fill in your own information like most of the flyers on this site.

The fonts I used in the example are: Futura Lt / Futura Hv / Angelina. The text in the banner on the file to download say the words: “bake sale”.

Free Printable Recipe Card

free printable recipe cardI was inspired by carrot cake to create this free printable recipe card. This will go great in an orange kitchen. Do you have Rachel Ray cookware or accessories, or do you  just like the color orange? The recipe  card has plenty of space for those with big handwriting to fit your ingredients and recipe directions. You could write the name of the dish in the orange area so it stands out. Keep track of all of your favorite bake sale recipes by printing out and creating your own custom cookbook. The card is created at 300dpi and can be printed out on 4×6 paper like you would a photograph.

Free printable thank you cards

free printable thank you cardsI decided to make one more freebie printable to match the banner bake sale flyer because I really love the colors and was really happy with how the banner and flyers came out. So I designed a set of matching free printable thank you cards. The cards are made to print 2 per letter sized page. You then can score the paper in half at 4.25 inches and cut the cards apart at 5.5 inches so you will get two printed cards for every sheet of cardstock that you use. I printed the cards on a thick linen paper which also worked out fine. It is nice to send thank you cards to contributors or volunteers that helped out during your bake sale. However, these cards can be used for any occasion.

PDF requires adobe acrobat reader, JPG can be modified in any image editing program if you wish to add custom text or print a message on the inside of the card. Design is made at 300 dpi

School Bake Sale Photo

school bake saleDress up your school bake sale this year with this free image. A muffin sits atop a stack of books in this free photo that you can use without restrictions in personal and commercial projects. If your school is currently planning a bake sale, this is a free photo that you can use to create promotional materials including flyers.

A bake sale is a fundraising event that everyone can contribute something to. The best things to bring to a bake sale are portable items that won’t make a mess. If you are raising money for a school sports team, use the school colors to decorate your goodies to evoke more team spirit. You can do this with icing colors or sprinkles, or a little food coloring added to a light mix. If your school has nutrition guidelines and you are only allowed healthy treats, thing about selling muffins, fruit bars, or scones. Depending on your state guidelines, you may need to aquire a permit or approval to hold a bake sale fundraiser.

Retro Bake Sale Sign

bake sale background

This design for a bake sale flyer features a stripped blue background and a retro inspired Bake Sale logo in red. It reminds of retro 50’s style bakery signs and packaging.

When creating a flyer, don’t use excessive wordage, adjectives or be overly detailed. Get to the point and provide the necessary details without embellishments so it is quick and easy to read at a glance.

This flyer provides a large bottom area where you can add text (white color recommended, maybe with a drop shadow to make it pop). To the right is the background with text added as an example of how to describe your event details using this background.

Free Printable Banner and Bake Sale Flyer

bake sale free printable bannerThis sweet and simple bake sale flyer features a colorful pennant flag banner illustration. To match the sign, I have also created a free printable banner that spells out the word “bake sale” that you can hang to decorate your tables or stand during the actual event.

All images are created at 300 dpi JPG, so you will need to fit the image to page when printing and make sure that the design does not get cut off in the margin of your page. After you print the four pages simply cut out the flags and attach to string at the corners to form a bunting style hanging banner. There are many different ways you can attach the flags to your rope, from staples, paperclips, clothespins, binder clips, but one of the simplest and cleanest ways is to punch two holes in either corner about one inch from the edge of your letter triangle and string through these holes behind the sign so you don’t see the string behind your pennant. Then to keep the letters in place you can also put a small piece of tape to hold your paper fast to the string and keep it in place during outdoor events.
